  2. Windows 10 users need to click on "More Details" to get the Task Manager.
  3. Click on "Processes" and from the "process name header" right-click QuickBooks.
  4. Select End Task and click OK.
  5. Now open the "Entitlement Data" folder by navigating to C: \ Program Data \ Intuit \ Entitlement Client \ v8 (or v6).
  6. Right-click "EntitlementDataStore.ecml" and select "Delete."
  7. Click "Yes" to confirm the action.
  8. Finally, run QuickBooks and try to re-register it.
